Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier Installation

Summary

The existing rear bumper on Inky was just a piece of square steel half tube with a reciever hitch mounted behind/underneath it. This required the larger rear tire to ride on the tailgate door, which didn't fit very well and wasn't what I considered secure enough to not damange the tailgate. We decided we should move to a Tire Carrier (Swing) mount for the tire, which led to just replacing the whole bumper system.

We chose a bumper system that met those requirements as well as was still a CLASS III rated receiver hitch so we didn't lose that option if needed. We installed a key safe into the hitch since we don't use it most of the time.
